  1. @jason The app just updated and all looks good! Thank you.
  2. I have just installed version SkipApp-0.9.992.9040-RC and noticed issues when programming the 4 colour buttons on the remote. Strange behaviour includes duplicating the mapping onto another colour button, and the colour ring is off-set on the image of the remote. I attach the config file that I am using. The last version I have where the mapping of colour buttons functions correctly is SkipApp-0.9.982.8843-Beta. This problem also occurs in version SkipApp-0.9.982.8953-hotfix-0.9.984, which fixed the crashes on Windows 11 problem, so appears to have been introduced between 0.9.982.8843 and 0.9.982.8953. For example, as a controlled test, on a Windows 11 PC: 1. Install version 0.9.982.8843-Beta 2. Import attached .skip file 3. For activity Kodi, device Flirc, the colour buttons are mapped as follows: Red = Audio Delay, Green = Small Step Back, Blue = Blue, Yellow = Toggle Fullscreen 4. Install version 0.9.992.9040-RC 5. The mappings for Green and Blue are missing, and trying to re-map these buttons causes strange duplications etc. UK Lounge 24-11-15.skip
  3. @Joe Baughman this may be related to the issue I reported in the thread "Skip App crashes on Windows 11 ". Try the software that you can download from the second last post in that thread.
  4. @Agustin Thanks for the version in the link above. I have installed SkipApp-0.9.982.8953-hotfix-0.9.984-x64 and successfully started the app 5 times in succession! Looks like you have made some good progress!
  5. @Agustin Hi. I installed https://update.flirc.tv/skipapp/pr/1367/SkipApp-0.9.984.8944-wizard-x64.msix?token=skipAppUpdate It failed to open but did add some entries to the end of the attached log file flirc20241031.log
  6. @jason attached is the requested .zip file SkipApp_nk6j7xazwq5t8.zip
  7. Hi. Do you want that directory before or after the install of version 0.9.984.xxxx
  8. @Agustin Hello. Today I tried several times but it only started successfully once.
  9. @Agustin Good morning. I tried version 0.9.984.8940 again, and this time I was able to start the app randomly. It's not every second time now. I attach the log file you requested. When the app did start I still noticed that the Play/Pause and Mute buttons were not highlighted even though they were mapped. flirc20241031.log
  10. ok - I had reinstalled the working 0.9.982.xxx version. So I downloaded 0.9.984.8940 again. Now it crashes every time and does not create a log file! (I deleted the log file from version 0.9.982.xxx before installation)
  11. I've just tested again. With version 0.9.984.8921, the app crashes everytime With version 0.9.984.8940, the app crashes every other time My remote configuration is attached UK Lounge.skip
  12. Following the post from @marius, I removed the log file and reinstalled https://update.flirc.tv/skipapp/pr/1367/SkipApp-0.9.984.8940-wizard-x64.msix?token=skipAppUpdate. The first time I ran the new version, it crashed. I then tried again, and it opened up correctly. I continued this cycle, and every second attempt to open the app failed, but the next attempt was successful. When it opened ok and displayed the remote control I noticed that the Play/Pause and Mute buttons were not highlighted by a colour, even though they were programmed. When I revert to App Version: 0.9.982.8843 the app starts every time and those buttons are highlighted correctly.
  13. @Agustin Hi. I've downloaded the version you posted and get the same result - a blank app Window for a few seconds and then the app crashes. No new log was created. Timestamp/version from the only log I can see TimeStamp: 2024-10-28 13:06:36 App Version: 0.9.982.8843
  14. Glad it is not just me!
  15. I updated to version 0.9.984.8921-Beta this morning, and the problem returned. I've zipped up the files requested in the attached. I then reinstalled the previous version, 0.9.982.8843-Beta, and the app started ok - I did need to import my configuration, so the failed upgrade to version 0.9.984.8921-Beta changed something! So I will stay on version 0.9.982.8843-Beta for now! LocalState.zip
