A year later... Was there ever a resolution to this? I use a URC-7935 universal remote which works fantastically with FLIRC and my fire stick and the long-press home menu is the one feature I could never get to work. I can program the remote with the IR protocol from just about any device in existence (It's a JP1 remote) so if there's one that will work, or another way to get this feature, please share!
