The problem is solved. :)
Fortunately I have two fast identical PCs. I have updated the firmware on the second PC and it works yet also on the "first" PC. :) :)

My Flirc USB worked ca. 1 Month. Now it does not working (win 8.1).
GUI: always disconnected.
Command line interface: see attach
How can I reset the USB receiver?

[flirc_util.exe delete_index does not work]

Today is 9.March 2021 and the "delete_index" function still does not work!...
