Apologies for my use of "full shutdown". What I should have said is that "...AND Wake now wakes PC from a S3 sleep"
(I had forgot that I changed the Power off settings in my BIOS from S5 to S3 in order to turn on my PC using Wake On Lan (WoL) and/or input from USB from Flirc)
Also by installing the Flirc sware you get rid of the "Unrecognised device" in device manager. -

IMPORTANT: As at 15/08/2016 Flirc does not properly receive IR codes sent from Harmony device MCE Keyboard.
Instead use Harmony device Plex Player to send keyboard keys.Problem: If using the MCE Keyboard device on your profile Flirc maps different remote buttons (IR codes) to the same keys.
Reason :This [MCE Keyboard] remote profile is a Microsoft protocol that uses a non-standard frequency.
Fix: Do NOT use MCE Keyboard device in Harmony if you will be sending to Flirc. Instead use:· Device: Media Center PC
· Manufacturer: Plex
· Model: Plex Player (not Payer or just Plex)

Make sure you've:
- Enabled Wake by USB in you BIOS settings.
- Ran Flirc.exe on the box you're using Flirc to install the USB drivers.
Now you should be able to use\assign the "Wake" key in the Flirc software's "Full Keyboard" to wake your PC.

Nope mine Win10 is up to date & no problem. Just make sure you have run Flirc.exe on your Win10 box to install USB drivers... perhaps rerun it if you had already done so.

Make sure to install Flirc software on PC Flirc will be plugged into.
FYI: I configured Flirc on a different PC so until I ran the Flirc.exe on my Win10 box (where Flirc was plugged in) the Flirc was showing up as an unrecognized device in device manager however it was working OK EXCEPT for the "Wake" key (on Flirc Full Keyboard profile) which would only wake from Sleep.
After running Flirc.exe the Flirc is correctly recognized in device manager AND Wake now wakes PC from a full shutdown. -

No Flirc support of Windows Media Center remotes?

Guys as per my post above on the 15 Aug 2016 it appears that the FLIRC cannot interpret Microsoft Media Center IR codes correctly.
This means you cannot use an actual Microsoft Media Center remote (nor a Logitech Harmony remote that you've configured as a Microsoft Media Center remote) to:
(As you will get the "already exists" errors for other keys such as skip forward & skip back)
