I own the Shield TV 16GB 2nd Gen and the Shield TV Pro 2nd Gen (I'm not using the Flirc with the Pro as it has a built-in IR receiver). I struggled for some time to properly set up the Flirc and Harmony 650 but have found a solution that has worked for me. This is what works for me: Run the MyHarmony app. Add the device: Manufacturer: Nvidia Model: Shield The MyHarmony app will ask if it is the NVIDIA SHIELD TV. Tell it "Yes" and you should see a full array of options for the buttons. Program the MyHarmony r

Hi - Sorry about the totally n00b questions. I just found out about the Flirc today, and I am researching if it will work for me. I just purchased an Nvidia Shield 2017. I am looking for a way to control it with my incredibly versatile IR remote (a Philips TSU-9600). Someone in the Nvidia forums suggested that I can use the Flirc USB device, but I'm not totally sure if it is a good match for me - It could work fine, or be overkill for my needs. Hi, I just received my Flirc to go with the Nvidia Shield and I'm having some configuration challenges with my Harmony 350 remote. I followed the Harmony setup guide for Flirc and I'm using the "Flirc Media Player" profile. I noticed that there are several native Kodi controls that are missing that are mapped to keyboard shortcuts. The main ones that are missing for me are the Live TV controls such as EPG or channels, page up and down, etc. I tried using the keyboard profile but Flirc isn't recognizing all of the Harmony button presses - I imagine this is why the Harmony profile

So I just recently got a Nvidia Shield and Flirc and set it up with my Harmony 1100 remote I have a 4K Sony and a Denon AVR. At initial setup everything seemed to work fine and I could control the shield properly; however I noticed as I switched inputs the TV would switch from the AVR to the TV speakers and I would constantly have to change it back manually. I discovered by turning Bravia Sync off this would fix this; however the Shield will not turn off now. Is there a way to program the Shield to turn off with the Flirc and my Harmony 1100 remote? Thanks in advance.
