Cannot upgrade to latest firmware from 4.4.2

After about 5 years, I found the flirc device again and I am trying to use it but cannot upgrade the firmware. It is on version 4.4.2. The lates gui shows me a pop up with a warning Firmware Upgrade, but it doesn't work. It stays on "Firmware being upgraded..." and never finish.

How can I update flirc from old version?

    Chrome (Android)

    3. Adjust your preference.
