Ced Posted July 13, 2024 Report Posted July 13, 2024 Hi, I installed a raspberrypi 5 with LibreELEC + Skip 1s + Flirc USB. Skip 1s is configured to handle Kodi navigation and TV sound. All is working great but I have a problem when I connect a bluetooth headset to the raspberry pi. I don't know how to configure Skip 1s in order to manage the bluetooth headset volume. Can you provide me with some help. Thanks a lot. Quote
congregateopul Posted November 27, 2025 Report Posted November 27, 2025 (edited) @ Slice Master This is not a limitation of the remote itself, but of how Bluetooth audio and CEC/IR volume control work on the Raspberry Pi. However—there are workarounds depending on what you want to achieve. Edited November 27, 2025 by congregateopul Quote

Have you tried mapping Skip 1s buttons to the Bluetooth audio output in Kodi’s audio settings? That might allow volume control for your headset. Quote

Technology Research Topics That’s a tricky setup — Bluetooth headset volume on LibreELEC often isn’t tied to the same controls that Skip 1s or your TV handles. You may need to map the Skip 1s volume buttons to Kodi’s internal volume instead of the TV’s, or adjust volume directly in Kodi’s audio settings when the headset is connected. Hopefully someone with the same setup can share their mapping! Quote
adnan754 Posted January 24 Report Posted January 24 Nice ideaUsing Raspberry Pi 5 with LibreELEC as a remote control for a Bluetooth headset is smart and practical. Clean setup, flexible customization, and perfect for media control without extra hardware. world mod apk Quote

Andrew987 Posted March 3 Report Posted March 3 If you're using LibreELEC on a Raspberry Pi 5 with Skip 1s and Flirc, controlling Bluetooth headset volume sometimes doesn't work because Skip 1s sends IR commands, while Bluetooth headset volume is handled directly in Kodi/OS – not through the TV or IR device. fun games Quote
harryclinton Posted Tuesday at 10:45 AM Report Posted Tuesday at 10:45 AM Interesting setup. If your Bluetooth headset supports media buttons, mapping them through LibreELEC keymaps might help. It reminds me of whatsapp group admin management where small controls make coordination easier. Quote
harryclinton Posted Tuesday at 10:49 AM Report Posted Tuesday at 10:49 AM Interesting setup. For Bluetooth headset control on Raspberry Pi5 with LibreELEC, try checking key mapping or HID profiles. I ran into similar tweaks while calibrating screens for lightroom soft proof. Quote
