OldSchoolB Posted July 12 Report Posted July 12 I just purchased a Skip 1s remote for use a media controller for my Dell Windows 11 PC. I have a Flirc USB attached to the PC. But when I click on "PC" under the "Do you want to set up a new device?" option in the wizard, I am only given four options for the brand: BenQ, Elgato, Flirc, and MadVR. None of these are PC brands never mind Dell and I've tried all of them and none of them do anything. This seems like a simple task, what am I doing wrong? Quote
kbhasi Posted September 26 Report Posted September 26 (edited) FLIRC USB and FLIRC Skip 1s are separate products that can work together. For the easy method, in Skip App, you need to select Flirc as the brand and, for the model number, the control scheme you want to use out of the list of 'models' which is the list of built-in control scheme profiles available on the FLIRC USB. There's a more advanced method if you want to define your own keyboard inputs, which involves doing the same thing as the easy method but using the FLIRC USB app to disable its built-in profiles and assign your own keyboard inputs.
