some_guy Posted December 5, 2023 Report Posted December 5, 2023 Hello, I just bought a Flirc usb receiver and tried to flash it from a virtual machine with Windows. The flirc GUI app restarted and left flirc in a weird state. I've tried since to upgrade the firmware via the gui on a standalone Windows machine, however it crashes instantly when flirc is connected. I am unable to go to advanced menu or do any operations with the GUI tool. I am able to communicate with flirc via my Linux box. This are the outputs of some of the util commands. flirc_util device_log NVMCTRL bad command Reset Cause: SYST: False WDT: False EXT: False BOD33: False BOD12: False POR: True Error starting app header->boot_flag: FF ?= 0x55 Waiting in bootloader... flirc_util unit_test Self test not supported Flirc Fucked Flirc Not Okay Flirc Not Okay flirc_util settings 3.25.3 Bootloader Version: v3.3.1 [E] lib/libflirc/bootloader/bl_3.3.c fl_sku(115): not a valid image Hash: 0x538A716C Settings: sleep detection: NA noise canceler: NA inter-key delay: NA variant: Flirc builtin profiles: NA Memory Info: NA [E] lib/libflirc/bootloader/bl_3.3.c fl_sku(115): not a valid image product sku: NA Records: NA What can I do to fix this? I've read on the forum that maybe flashing firmware to it, might do the trick, but I am unable to find it anywhere. Thanks Quote
