So I tried to use one of the best remotes ever designed... a Tivo remote. My results were pretty good, only real issue I had was there were a few buttons that appeared as though they recorded correctly but seemed to be ignored once I got into Media Center. Strangely enough when I go to record the button again it says it is already recorded.

I just ordered my flirc. I have a TiVo Slide Remote waiting to be tested. Can anyone confirm this working or not? what about the keyboard keys? What mappings did you use can you give any advice to making this setup easier for me?

Any updates or other experiences with either the Tivo Glo?

I have a nyxboard, but those are no longer being produced.  I'm looking at a Tivo remote + Flirc for relatively easy Win8.1 + WMC + XBMC navigation.  Since the Glo is a learning IR remote as well, I can program the basic volume and TV/AVR power commands and put my K400 wireless keyboard away when not doing anything typing intensive(which is almost never).

Thoughts?

I use Flirc with second gen TiVo peanut remote and all buttons mapped perfectly.  I even have the volume directly controlling my surround sound system and the power button controls the TV.  It gives me a more integrated solution than a MCE remote.

Got my hands on a Tivo peanut remote. Would really like to use this as my htpc remote for XBMC. doublet30, would you mind posting your key mappings to get this working perfectly?

Or anyone please?

Thanks in advance...
