  1. Hi, I have 2 Logitech Harmony remotes - a 650 and a 700. I use each to control several devices. My problem is using the Flirc dongle with my Raspberry Pi 2's running Kodi. In previous versions of the Flirc software for Windows, I used the XBMC (now Kodi) Controller and when I set up my remotes with the Harmony software, both Page Up and Page Down were mapped correctly and worked. Now they don't. I've tried both the Kodi and Windows Media Controllers from Flirc and cannot get Page Up/Page Down programmed on my remotes. I don't know how to "teach" my Harmony remotes these commands as I don't have Raspberry Pi remote to use. Does anyone have a link to an older version of the Flirc software for Windows? Maybe I can get it to work that way. Or, if anyone knows of another way to configure Flirc (and therefore my remotes) with these commands, please let me know. Your help would be greatly appreciated! Gracie
  2. I have Flirc set up with my Logitech Harmony 600 and use a "Full Keyboard" profile. If I try the buttons and keys in Notepad everything is OK. I have tried with Windows 8.1 and Windows 10. But as soon as I try to Pause or move around in Kodi/XBMC, the buttons don't work like they should. For example, I have to press really hard and sometimes it doesn't even react to anything. I don't know if the problem is Flirc or Kodi... I have tried with latest Kodi Isengard 15.1 and also with Helix 14.2... What could be causing this? Please help...
  3. I installed a FLIRC with firmware 3.6 and GUI 1.3.6. The GUI connects with the FLIRC and is able to record commands from my Harmony remote. Once I exit the GUI and load KODI, it does not work at all. I have the FLIRC KODI profile loaded on the remote. If I go back to the GUI, it connects and records commands but no go in KODI. I am running Windows 7, KODI 14.0 and 14.2. I have tried the FLIRC in a couple different usb ports and have rebooted the computer with no luck. Any help would be appreciated.
  4. I've had the remote for about a week now and FLIRC for about 4 days. I've setup all my commands in FLIRC and in EventGhost they all work perfectly fine. My problem is the amount of lag in Kodi. For instance if I press the right arrow button it will take about 1 or 2 seconds to respond on screen. I'm about 7 feet away from the FLIRC dongle and its directly in front of me so I know its not an interference error. I have Inter-key and Inter-Device on my Harmony both set to 0 and Inter-key on FLIRC set to 0 as well. I have tried the advancedconfig.xml in Kodi to fix the lag but with no luck. FLIRC firmware is 3.3 and Harmony firmware is up to date as well. Any fix for this?
  5. Hello, I just picked up a Fire TV over the weekend, and have installed KODI onto it. Note, I've been running KODI on an Intel NUC with built in IR, and controlling it with my Harmony One for over a year. Now, with the Fire TV, I'm using the FLIRC (v1.36) with my Harmony One. I've managed to get all the basic functions setup with the FLIRC, so the Fire TV & KODI control buttons work on the H One. The one thing I've been having a problem with, is that on the One, when I use my Intel Nuc, I have 2 LCD buttons at the top Update Library, and Clean Library. I set these up on the Nuc according to the guide here: http://wiki.openelec.tv/index.php/Config_harmony Now, on the FireTV/KODI installation, I've copied over the keymap.xml from the NUC to the FireTV (rebooted, etc). But, when I press the button to update or clean, in the harmony profile for the Fire TV, it doesn't do either function. I tried to map the #1 key on the full keyboard in the FLIRC to the 1 button on the Harmony, but that didn't seem to help. Also tried mapping 1 & 2 in the KODI controller in FLIRC. The keymap.xml file sets key 1 and 2 to do the update and clean. I'm not sure what I'm missing, but needed some assistance. Thanks.
  6. Hi. I've currently got FLIRC firmware 3.6 and a Harmony 650. I notice that since updating the firmware on my FLIRC and my Harmony that sometimes I'll get buttons pressing twice when navigating in KODI. I've followed the suggestions here and here and it's improved but it still occurs sometimes. I'm wondering if there's a way I can increase the Inter-Key Delay setting beyond 6. I'm on Ubuntu 14.
  7. Just ordered one of these bad boys to use with my Nexus Player with kodi. As much as I love the big Atlas remotes they have way too many buttons I'll never use. I'll be on the hunt for a replacement soon I think. My setup is only the nexus player for use with kodi (downloads, recorded shows, OTA with mythtv addon) and netflix, no cable. I'm still trying to figure out how many buttons I'd actually like ha ha. Being a long time user of xbmc on my original xbox I loved the game controller setup so perhaps I'll try to find a remote with the same number of buttons. Hardest part is finding a universal remote that doesn't have those useless number buttons.
