  1. Hi all, I’ve just gotten my Skip1s and USB bundle. Really excited and trying to get things set up, but I’m running into a problem I can’t seem to solve. Issue: Can’t control Plex via Skip1s as programmed in Skip app Set up: Skip1s programmed “PC” for “Flirc” and “Plex” in Skip app v0.9.956 beta. Synced to “A” Activity button FLIRC USB and software v3.27.10 Windows 11 Pro Plex HTPC v10.0.22631 Observations: Controls as programmed via the settings synced from Skip app to “A” activity don’t trigger the expected behaviour in Plex. I am able to program some aspects of Plex controls with Skip1s via FLIRC USB software, but not all (so obviously not desirable long term). When no settings are programmed in FLIRC USB software and the device log is set to “Enable IR Debugging”, IR signals from Skip1s are detected. Activity “B” settings for TV and Soundbar work as programmed in Skip app. FLIRC USB doesn’t show in Windows Device Manager, including, hidden devices. Attempted remedies: Full system restart Powered Skip1s off/on via removal of batteries for >10 minutes Moved FLIRC USB to multiple alternative usb ports, including a usb hub, front panel and mobo backplate I/O. Program desired settings to activities “B” and “C” via Skip app Reset Skip1s settings in Skip app, used Skip app on alternative windows machine to set up Skip1s as a new device. Used FLIRC USB and software on alternative machine. Outcome: Issue persists, namely, input via Skip1s remote results in no action in Plex. Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I love this product already, I just want to make this work and it’ll be perfect.
  2. Hi there! I purchased a Flirc USB 2nd genI have a desktop PC and a HTPC that I intend to use the Flirc on, both are running Windows 10. For this convo, I'll only bring up the desktop PC, but it is has an ASRock FM2A75M Pro4+ mother board. How do I go about syncing my logitech Harmony 650 to this device and using the Flirc/Harmony 650 to power on my PC (not from sleep, that is)? I believe that the BIOS options for power to the USBs is currently on, is there a way to verify that? I also activated the 'powering on by USB keyboard/mouse' in BIOS, but that still didn't help. Is there a proper model number for the Flirc? I have tried the help here: https://support.flirc.tv/hc/en-us/articles/200712568-Logitech-Harmony-Remotes, but it doesn't seem to work... Can I get some help? Is there a simple walk-through for this? I've tried all of the Flirc commonly available FAQs and topics, but they don't seem to work. Thanks ahead of time!
  3. Hey guys, got a FLIRC SE installed. Works great except for wake up command. What iv tried so far. Mapped the button using the GUI (click on the icon, press the button on my harmony remote, button gets recorded fine) Power down hit the button and nothing happens. I have also used this method to record the power button and same issue. flirc_util.exe record power I can wake the PC using a WOL command from an APP. I just cant seem to get it to work with FLIRC. been at it for a few (more then a few hours and its hitting 3am here so need to get some sleep. Would appreciate any help or troubleshooting advice/steps. Thanks.
  4. Hi everyone, just got my flirc yesterday, and i am having some troubles with it. Hardware: Custom built i3 Asrock h77m-itx 4gb ram BIOS 1.90 Harmony 900 remote Dinovo Mini Blue tooth Keyboard FLIRC XBMC Gotham 13.1 It took me awhile to get it working but flirc is working fine, i have programed the activity to use flirc on the harmony 900 it will power on my tv and zvox but not my htpc, i have to use my dinovo mini to power it on. For the life of me i can not figure out why the flirc does not power on my htpc, i have checked all the bios settings updated to the latest asrock bios 1.90, i even used my wireless logitech keyboard and it powers the machine one with no issues. If someone could help me that would be so good. Could it be that i am putting it to a shutdown state rather than sleep mode state ? that is why it is not wkring if so then why would my other devices be able to power it on. thanks w

  6. Hello, I have a Logitech K700 keyboard (from my Logitech Revue Google TV) that I am going to be using as my keyboard/mouse for my new HTPC. There is a thread on the Autohotkey forums here that uses custom scripts with Autohotkey to add functionality to the K700 keyboard. Before I install the software and attempt this custom script, I'm wondering if anyone knows if using Autohotkey on the "real" keyboard will impact my Flirc unit at all? I don't want any conflicts to mess with it. I may interested in using Autohotkey for the Flirc at some point in the future as I work on switching between WMC and either XBMC and MB3, so I want to see if anyone has any experience with this. Thanks!
