  1. I did not. But I haven't persevered. I decided to take another approach and hooked a Roku to the TV. But I ran into other problems with the Insignia soundbar in this setup and put the remote down. It is my workout TV and I am still picking up the multiple remotes and turning things on and off. I have had the flirc remote since they did the kickstarter but it is just collecting dust at this point. I had originally bought it as a potential replacement for my three main TV setups that run on Harmony. There is the ever present threat that Harmony is going to shut down their support since they pulled from this business year ago. But so far so good. I thought playing around on this simple setup would be a great way to see how this works. I appear to have answered that question so far - not very well. I am also a little surprised that tech support did not weigh in (assuming they are monitoring this forum) on this message which is now 6 months old. Are you in the same boat? I am happy to dust it off and try again.
  2. I have an Insignia TV with Fire built in. I don't see an option for this in the Insignia TV options but thought if I just add a FireTV as a setup box I could do that. But I don't see Amazon or Fire showing up in the controls. I think that is because they are bluetooth? But presumably if the TV works with an IR remote then I should be able to control the basic functions - Home, navigation, etc? Any ideas how I could get this working? Thanks.
  3. I have added the Insignia Soundbar and the test works fine on Code Group 1. For the test it toggles the power on and off. Then I map the soundbar to control my audio. And in the list of commands that I can use don't include a power toggle or power on and off? How do I add a power command? Thanks.
