I just received a new remote this week and am trying to connect it for the first time. I have had no luck with 3 different windows 10 machines. None will recognize the remote when I plug it in and the Skip app does not see the remote. I have tried the steps from this thread with no success. What can I do to make this work? Turns out I had a bad USB cable. I am able to get the app to recognize the remote now. Should have checked that sooner.
