I have just got my flirc and I am.using it with my TV remote to control my KODI setup.
Kodi is running on lubuntu and x boots into kodi straight away with no proper desktop environment running behind.
Everything is running great so far apart from powering down.
I have programmed the power button on the remote to shutdown in the kodi setup on flirc and when I press it both the TV and my HTPC start up. Great! However the button does not shut down my kodi box.
