OK, installed that but cannot see any log file in the folder...
Also my PC is making a sound like a device connecting and disconnecting randomly now

So I just got delivery of my Flirc.
I downloaded the software off the site, V 1.2.4, connected the Flirc, it installed all the drivers but still cannot connect through the GUI.
The Flirc is appearing in my device manager fine.
I have tried Installing the driver manually again, and using the zadig method but it still is not working.
Have tried both USB 3 and 2 ports on the laptop - no joy.
It's a Win 7 64 bit machine.
Any ideas what to try next, it's not much use If I cannot connect to it!!

Looks like it may have been my USB drivers on the laptop, I updated them and it seems to be working now.
