dslate69 Posted January 1, 2012 Report Share Posted January 1, 2012 Very Simple to setup yet robust media solution. .My setup includes (PLEX, XBMC, Boxee, Hulu Desktop, AutoHotkey), using http://www.flirc.tv/ with my DirecTv remote setting AV1 to my Audio reciever and AV2 to (DirecTV Reciever 00003). It allows me to switch between the apps with a touch of a button. Thanks to Flirc since it is what makes it so easy. You certainly know how to make the most of FLIRC! :) Well Plex is my work horse and of course handles all of my movies and tv shows. It is absolutely amazing but can't do it all. XBMC fills in with addons. I also use it for content I want to play but not to index. Windows Media Center is mainly for Netflix at the moment. I would love to find a command\script to launch directly into Netflix. Boxee is just a horse I haven't put out to pasture yet. You have to know the quality of any Netflix plugin for XBMC\ Plex can't compare to the Netflix developed addon for WMC. BTW: I did figure out how to launch directly into Netflix so all is good now. Then you program your remote to start programs with the command "Windows key + 1" for the first program, "Windows key + 2" for the next program.
