Hi,

I used the installer 0.96 for Windows to install the GUI.

It seemed to work, but when plugging in the FLIRC-Device, there is no appropriate driver installed.

 

Where can I get the driver and how can it be installed?

Hey Nordertom, a copy of the driver is actually in the installation directory. Program Files\flirc\driver

new here, had the same problem.

 

Choosing driver did no good, have run the 0.95 setup - worked like a charm.

The .96 version of the sofware is still broken. This has been a known issue since at least June (as noted in other posts) and should be promptly fixed. Less PC savy people are not likely to leave favorable reviews after receving a product that doesn't work out of the box as advertised. Once the drives are updated, the flirc does work well though.
