Hello Jason

I Hope you are Well.

Since everything has been working well I have not Opened the Skip 1s App for a while, however, I had a need to Open it and I have a Problem.

When I Open the App it says that there is an Update but all I see is a Black Square in the Middle of the Screen, I have attached a Screenshot.

I have no idea what Version I am on as, if I Close the Black Window and go yo About, in the Bottom Left all that is shown is another Black WIndow.

Any suggestions?

You are using a beta build. Did you check the beta box in settings? I'm about to post an update on that channel.

I just checked and it is setup for RC Builds, not Beta.

Sorry, I forgot we haven't labeled the public version as release yet. You should be on Beta. RC is untested and unreleased, but is possible for release. Did you update to the latest release candidate, and did it work? If not, try the public version: https://update.flirc.tv/skipapp/beta/0.9.995/SkipApp-0.9.995.10457-Beta-x64.msix?token=skipAppUpdate

I was not able to Update at all as I just had the Black Window.

I have Installed the Version that you Linked to and it seems to be working again.

Should I leave the Setting as 'Release' ?

You should change it to 'beta' for now.

Indefinitely. I think we have at least a year before it moves to a release version. Feel free to try the latest with all the features outlined here: https://forum.flirc.tv/index.php?/topic/21528-skipapp-09996-rc-cloud-sync-mobile-support/

You can always revert back to the beta.
