Remote feels so sluggish to use

Featured Replies

Just got the remote. Setted it up with my Apple TV. It works, but if I consecutively press the same button multiple times quickly (like dpad right), not only would it not register every button press, but there's random delays between some of them, or it acts like I'm holding it when I'm just pressing it quickly. For example, if I press right 10 times quickly, instead of the cursor moving 10 times as I press it, it insteads like delays itself, moves quickly, delays itself, move quickly, sometimes if i press it fast enough it acts like im holding it. Usually results in my not getting the 10th place (which is terrible for typing on a keyboard quickly)

Am I doing something wrong here? Firmware up to date and using latest RC from the forum. There is no way this is something no one else notices.

After messing with it more, quick repetitive button presses mistakes the remote to thinking I'm holding the button instead. Terrible experience when navigating through netflix or a especially a keyboard.

I hear you, it's a problem inherit in IR. It bothers me too, but I have an idea to workaround it and I'll push it in the next release candidate within the next 2 weeks.
