October 14, 2025Oct 14 comment_43037 Hello! Is this not supposed to work? I purchased a new FLIRC, Fire TV Edition from someone who told me it was supposed to work on PC as well. Since I have no micro USB on my HTPC, I purchased an adapter: "Micro USB to USB C". But when I plug it in, nothing happens. When I open the flirc software, nothing happens either. It just says "Please connect flirc" and "Disconnected". What can I do? Report

March 9Mar 9 comment_43401 Same issue was this ever resolved? Experiencing the exact same thing. I have tried every port on my PC, multiple adapter all that work with other devices. I uninstalled and reinstalled the software twice. Rebooted, nothing showing in Device Manager and it doesn't even look like it tries to get detected like every other usb device you plug into a PC. No unknown devices and not showing under HID or USB devices in Device Manager. Report
