I have several Flirc cases, among which 2 Kodi versions. I thought Kodi was the only special release you had. But then I found the Pi-Hole cases! (which are not featured on flirc.tv?)

It makes me wonder, are there any other Flirc brand cases like that that I am not aware of?

And if not, would you be open to a poll maybe to see if people would be open to different "tops" so to say? Even just for fun to see which ones would be most popular.

My mind goes to things like:

  • Home Assistant
  • RetroPie
  • Kali Linux
  • Ubuntu Linux
  • Linux Mint
  • Raspbian might be interesting for many people
  • just a general Linux penguin or something
  • OctoPrint
  • OpenMediaVault
  • Nextcloud
  • PiVPN
  • WireGuard
  • Docker

Of course, the list could be long. But if you're like me and you have a lot of RPis running, it's really handy to be able to identify which one does what exactly. Or if you have disconnected them and they are sitting on your desk for a while, you can see in an instant what it was used for, instead of trying to remember and needing to boot it just to check :D Labels work but they are ugly and Flirc cases deserve better than that. I have 2 which I put stickers on to easily identify them. But if at all possible, I prefer sleek, neat, good looking stock Flirc case.

I say all this with absolutely no idea how any of it would work from a legal perspective. I can imagine you have some kind of agreement with Pi-Hole. And I can also imagine that unfortunately it would take a lot of time and effort to do the same with so many other possible brands.

Aside from that, the aluminum cases come in different finishes: standard grey, darker grey/black for Kodi cases and from what I can tell some sort of blue-ish for the Pi-Hole one. Some variation of finishes would be lovely to have to be able to customize cases. A slight red-ish tone with a Wireguard top. An orange one with a Ubuntu top. A green one for Mint. A blue-ish one or just stealth black for Kali. And if I'm completely dreaming, an 8 bit looking finish for RetroPie.

I know, I know. I'm dreaming out loud here haha. Therefore, do treat this post as just some fun wishful thinking, and not a feature request. But oh how awesome it would be ^^
