Adding a device

When i get to "Map your devices..." nothing happens when i click Continue. (in the previous window "These devices will be used in your Activity" the audio device Fosi ZD3 has a red dot on it) How can i fix this?

can you provide a screenshot? What operating system is this?

I just update the SkipApp to v .9.994.9930.

Actually, i made the update last night. The previous version did the same thing. Amd after going back to the previous version it still does it.

Awesome, can you please click the 'copy to clipboard, and paste the results here. Close that window, it might popup again, and copy and paste that again to here.

Also, close/re-open the app, and enable the admin panel. Click on the 'three dots' in the corner, go to Settings. Click on Accessibility. Make sure "Enable advanced administration panel' is on. Exit that. You should now see a wrench in the top right of the screen. Click that. Go to 'Logs'. Zip and attach that here. I'll get to the bottom of it.

Hi Royspere, thanks for your help.

I'm still investigating, but I have some clues. I've generated a new version in case you can help us further.

SkipApp-0.9.993.10025-bug-roysphere-x64.dmg

In this version, I've made a fix, which, if I'm correct, will fix the bug. Although I still need to determine the origin.

Whether it fixes it or not, I'll ask you to share two things with me:
- the new logs
- that you export the devices you recorded and send them to me. You can do this by going to Settings > Brands. Select it from the list and download it by clicking the download icon (down arrow).

Thanks Jason. So i was able to assign the volume control for the ZD3, but wasn't able to assign the mute function or the on/off key. So progress at least.

Hi Royspere, the logs are correct. Thank you very much for your help. I was able to determine the source of the problem and now have a fix that we will add in our next release.

On the other hand, I see that you're still having issues with the power and mute buttons. However, in your logs, I see the ZD3 device without those actions. Are you having trouble recording them? Are you referring to that or some other situation?

Yes, i did record those key function, and they do appear in the "Buttons Panel" page, and when i assign them they look fine on the graphic of the remote. but on the actual remote the keys don't execute those functions. The ZD3 remote does have power and mute buttons.
