Remote is switching to option B on its own.

I have an issue with my Flirc remote. When you select option A, it will switch back to option B every time. I have reset the remote and reporgrammed it but it has not fixed the issue. Does anyone know a fix for this?

Even if you’ve reset and reprogrammed it, I’d suggest:

• Open the Flirc software and delete just that specific button mapping, not the entire config.

• Re-record option A carefully, making sure you only press the button once.

• Check under Controllers → Full Keyboard to see if option B is accidentally mapped to the same IR signal.

• Disable any built-in profiles (like Media Keys) that might auto-assign commands.

If it still switches back, try recording option A using a completely unused button on the remote to rule out hardware ghosting. Sometimes certain remote buttons emit multiple IR codes with a single press.
