mo.ramzan Posted August 17, 2025 Report Posted August 17, 2025 (edited) Hi, Firc Mac OS App v3.2717 Flirc USB v2 FW v4.10.5 Logitech Harmony Elite with Hub, device added as Flirc Media Player Corelec/Kodi The majority of Flirc commands work automatically. However, I'm having trouble getting the 'CodecInfo' command to work. I have mapped the key to a button, and also on the Harmony touchscreen, but neither does anything. Not sure if this is a bug, or if I should set up the device as XBMC/MCE? Edited August 18, 2025 by mo.ramzan Quote
mo.ramzan Posted August 18, 2025 Author Report Posted August 18, 2025 The device is a Ugoos A6MB+ running CoreElec, and Flirc V2 is plugged into a USB 2.0 slot. The 'CodecInfo' is available in the Flirc profile, but does nothing Quote
mo.ramzan Posted August 22, 2025 Author Report Posted August 22, 2025 Hi @jason, was there any update on this issue? Thanks Quote

We need to work backwards a bit. These are mapped to keyboard keys and I’m not sure why yours would be different. Once your keyboard is hooked up, try these shortcuts listed. Then go to the full keyboard controller, and you can map it manually. Let me know which one ended up working. Otherwise you’ll have to go into the kodi directory on the system and look through the mappings there too. Quote
mo.ramzan Posted August 22, 2025 Author Report Posted August 22, 2025 Hi, With a keyboard connected, I can use the 'O' key to bring up the CodecInfo. And all other shortcuts work as expected on a keyboard as well. Apologies, what do you mean by '...go to full keyboard controller, and you can map it manually'? Do you mean to use the Flirc desktop software? Thanks Quote
