August 2, 2025Aug 2 comment_41751 Hi, Running FW 3.27.16 does no longer record keypress. "Button alreday exists", is always the message. No matter if I assign new keys, or assign the same shortcut to a 2nd button of my remote control. Additionally I face the ssame problem as already reported, I cannot update the tool.. (Windows 11) WHY is the SOFTWARE not tested before release ??? So if an update is not possible, this means that my flirc-sticks are useless just because a buggy firmware has been released ??? August 2, 2025Aug 2 comment_41753 You have every right to be frustrated. It is tested, and it is working, and you do have the latest. However, that is not the firmware version can you please double check? Go to file, advanced and check the logging. It should say there. I will fix the erroneous failed update check this weekend. to record long press you need to first record the first key (which you have) then go to advanced and change the recording mode to long press. Then record the remote button again but for the other keyboard key. Report
