connecting skip remote to new pc

My previous PC that I used to configure the skip remote is broken right now. Can I connect the remote to another pc with the app and configure the remote?

Yes but unless you can export the old config, it will recognize it as a new remote to set up again. I can’t pull the config off the remote and import it into the gui, as it is a condensed form that doesn’t contain enough info to reconstruct it.

Thank you for the reply. Both remotes will be used as clones of each other. 

It was easy enough to set up the second remote how I wanted, then export and import that config in the original skip. This is a neat feature and easily allows the config of future remotes if needed. 

I like the how the app 'remembers' each remote and knows which one is plugged in.
