I haven't been keeping up with the updates and only just found out that IR Learning was finally added. This was one of the big features I wanted but now that I've gone to try it I can't for the life of me get it to work.
I go through the setup but once it's time to learn commands I get the error;

"We have had an unexpected error.

Let's try it again."

 

This happens immediately upon hitting record, I don't even get the chance to press a button on the source remote. I have tried two different computers (Windows 10 and Linux) and with no fewer than 10 different USB cables, it fails immediately every time.

 

Any help with this issue would be much appreciated!

I'm having the same issue. The app works fine & can see the remote. But when I try to record, I get the error listed above. Using the latest Appimage downloaded today.
