Learning/Recording not working

Featured Replies

Hi,

I'm trying to add some IR remotes, but the Record button is greyed out and the Learning tab has nothing in it.
I've tried plugging in the remote with the batteries out and holding down Enter and Return, tried through WSL2 USB passthrough but had no luck connecting.
I've got it working before without any issues but for whatever reason nothing is happening this time. Is there anything else I can try?

  • Remote Firmware Version: 4.13.7
  • Software Version: rc/0.9.982
  • OS: Windows 11 (22631.4037)

Hi again,

It's been a year and I recently tried again after getting a new AV receiver, but am getting the same issues. I've been using 0.9.994.10273 for all my tests, on MacOS (with 2 different devices), a Windows VM, and Linux (third machine). Everything else has been working without issue, but I'm beginning to suspect an issue with the remote itself.

The Record Device UI shows an empty progress bar.

The record tab shows nothing.

Remote FW version is 4.13.7-0-ge025535.

Any advice?
