I'm trying to create a custom JSON to support the Luxman L-505uXII, an integrated amplifier, but I'm having an issue with the volume buttons. Skip 1s seems to send NEC repeat code during a long press, but the amp's IR receiver doesn't seem to recognize it reliably. Having a look at irtools output, the amp's remote sends the same code multiple times rather than substituting NEC repeat codes for them.

Is there a way to send the same code multiple times without using NEC's repeat code?
