My Desktop is in one room, where in my display and sound system is in a different room. I plan to use 40ft USB extender cable, and then use FLIRC in the other room through the usb extender. Could you please confirm if FLIRC with perform without any issues over such distance. Also, the remote which i will be pairing with FLIRC is Sony RM-SFL7, this remote has a touch pad.
