There is a good tutorial for setting up Amazon Fire TV with Kodi. I added info in the comments at the bottom for setting up a Flirc + Harmony remote with it. You can completely customize the FTV and Kodi using keymap.xml to make all the buttons work how you want inside Kodi. Check it out here:
