I’m trying to figure out a way to control my mouse with the skip remote. From what I’ve been able to figure out, it’s not possible to directly control the mouse with the remote (if it is please correct/help me). However, I have figured out you can use the numb pad to control the mouse although using the FLIRC full keyboard, I cannot get the num pad keys to show up as a programmable option. Is there anyway to program num pad keys as a workaround or control the mouse a different way? While searching on this form, I was able to find in 2016 @.yawor talked about using the numb pad keys to control the mouse, but it was unclear to me on how to program those to . Any help is much appreciated ty!

Basically, the ability to read exactly what IR signal is being transmitted/received. And it would also be nice to be able to copy and paste that (if that’s even possible) into the skip app to specify buttons. I know you can read and record specific remotes on the Skip app with the Skip remote however, if you just have a specific button, you’re trying to replicate it would be nice to record that specific key. because I have a Samsung TV remote and it has a set top box key that I was unable to replicate with the base Samsung pre-programmed keys so for now I just recorded a custom remote with just the one button and I’m using that.

I’ve seen a similar feature recommended for the remote that’s basically a “shift” key modifier to the base 3 activity’s. However, I was thinking more app side being able to make multiple activities and just setting three as the three buttons or having it possible to download and upload specific activity files, not just the entire remote. A bonus function of downloading and uploading would be you’d be able to back up specific activities before messing with them. That way I would be able to have my 3 main activities and be able to swap out my third activity for a test activity in between testing sessions.
