  1. Thanks, I appreciate the suggestion. If it doesn't keep consistently working going forward, I'll definitely try that.
  2. I wouldn't necessarily say I've "solved" it, but I have gotten it to work fairly consistently by changing the order of the devices in the lists of Power On and Power Off commands. I thought it might help (though I had no clue if it actually would) to put the devices that were having issues at the top of the list - especially the blu-ray player. The HDMI Switch was the second most inconsistent. So I put the order: 1) blu-ray player, 2) HDMI Switch, 3) TV, 4) Roku Streambar. (The Roku Streambar seems to kind of always be on, or active, so that one's the least important.) And for my other activity, the same order - just without the blu-ray player. In my initial tests, it seems to be working. But I'll give it a few days to see if it continues to work consistently.
  3. I think I've narrowed down when the issue is specifically happening. The problem is mostly happening with the blu-ray player, and it seems to only be failing when I press the macro button's "Power On" function (but not "Power Off"). I have the blu-ray player's "Power Toggle" button in both the Power On and Power Off parts of the macro button. But when I press it the first time (to "Power On"), the remote turns on my TV, HDMI Switch, and Streambar - but not the blu-ray player. Then if I press the macro button the next time (triggering the "Power Off" set of commands), it turns the blu-ray player on (while turning off the other 3 devices). The next time I press it (this time it's Power On), the other 3 devices power back on, and the blu-ray player does not turn off - everything is now on. And finally the fourth time I press it (Power Off again), all 4 devices turn off. So again, for whatever reason, the Power Toggle of the blu-ray player is failing to be recognized every time the macro's Power On commands are activated. But when the Power Off commands are activated, the Power Togger of the player is being recognized. I at least was able to pinpoint what is failing and when. And ideas would be appreciated as to why the blu-ray player's Power command is failing only in the macro button's Power On function.
  4. I just received the remote today (arrived very fast after being shipped!). Everything seems to be working well with it except for the macro power button. In my first activity, I have a TV, Roku Streambar, and HDMI Switch; in my second activity, all of the aforementioned 3 devices plus a blu-ray player. The problem is that it never seems to power on (or off, for that matter) all of the assigned devices - it only ever seems to register for about 2 of the devices on average, 3 tops for the blu-ray activity. And the issue doesn't seem to be specific to any device - on one press, it sometimes fails to turn on the blu-ray player, on the next press it turns it on (while turning off some of the other devices in the activity). Other times it's the HDMI Switch that fails to turn on with the first attempt. I have perfect line of sight to every device, and I always press the power button with the remote pointed right at the devices. This is a big enough thing to happen regularly that it sort of ruins the experience. Any help would be appreciated.
  5. I hadn't gotten an email, but after seeing your post I went and checked my order status online - and sure enough, it says mine was just shipped too. Very cool!
  6. It's been another week and it's still not there after doing the most recent update tonight - strange.
  7. It's been another week and a half, and I see that the Back command still hasn't been added for the Streambar, as of the most recent update. Since it's unknown when the current shipment will get to you, could this just finally get added once and for all? I realize there's nothing to do but wait when it comes to the shipment, but this small thing should be able to be done pretty easily in the meantime, right?
  8. Since we're all just kind of waiting for the next shipment of remotes, I thought I may as well revisit this in the meantime. It was over two months ago that you mentioned officially adding the missing "Back" command to the Roku Streambar, so that I wouldn't have to add it manually every time I make a new activity. I've checked the nightly updates various times since then, but see that it's still not there. Since there's not a whole lot going on right now, could you maybe get that added? As a reminder, the Back command from the "Roku 2" device is identical to that of the Roku Streambar, so the code can be taken directly from that. Should be pretty simple for you, I'm guessing. Get back to me about this when you can. Thanks!
  9. That would definitely be nice. I'll keep checking back here for an announcement about the next shipment.
  10. If that's the case, then it sounds like those of us who pre-ordered (after the kickstarter backers) still won't be getting it for quite a while. But when I ordered it in March, it said that pre-orders would ship in the spring of 2023. (In fact, I see that it still says that, for anyone who purchases one even now.) There's only a month and a half left before the end of spring, so I'm skeptical about that promised timeframe. If nothing else, they should probably take that timeframe off the order page, so as not to get the hopes up of any new buyers...
  11. My order was placed in early March (quite a bit more recently than these others from December). Will I end up having to wait several more months after they get theirs, or will it be part of the same batch (or a batch soon thereafter). When I ordered it said it would be delivered sometime this spring, so I assumed it would come in the near future - in that time frame.
  12. Awesome, it seems like that worked - thanks! I had actually already done that easier method while waiting. As you said, it worked, just messier in the interface. The only adjustment I made to the code for that button was the "key" value. It had the value "14" in the Roku 2 section of the document, and the Streambar had its 19 existing commands taking up values 0 through 18 - so I copied it to the end of that section and changed the value from 14 to 19. I'm not sure if that was actually necessary, but it seemed like a good idea, just logically speaking. The "Back" button did indeed show up for the Streambar in the activity I was working with. Won't know for sure that everything will work till I get the remote, but it seems promising. Lastly, I noticed that the "Back" command didn't show up for the Streambar in my other activity, so I must have to add it in each one in the exported document - and that's fine. But maybe at some point you can go ahead and add that missing (but often used) button to the device in your database, so that it eventually won't have to get added on a case by case, activity by activity basis. Anyway, thanks again!
  13. *bump* While I wait to hear back about this, I'll also mention that if there is a simple way to add a single command to an existing device in the database here on my end (since you're no doubt busy addressing many people's issues all at once), I'd be happy to do so for this case of the Roku Streambar's "Back" button - assuming that's possible for me to do myself.
  14. While waiting for my remote to ship, I figured I'd go ahead and set up my activities ahead of time in the software. (The software is very straightforward and nice to use, BTW.) Everything is all set except for one thing, mentioned in the title. The "Back" button is missing for the Roku Streambar device (the only Roku device in the list of audio devices). As that's one of my most used buttons, I'm hoping you can add it to the command list for the Streambar? (I know the process for adding a device now, but not one specific command to a device already in the database.) If it helps, I have an old Roku 2 media device I don't use anymore, and tried out the Back button on its remote - it worked fine on the Streambar. And I saw that the Roku 2 in your database does have the Back button in the list of commands. So I imagine you can just copy the code for that into the Streambar's list of commands? Let me know if you'll be able to get that added when you can. Thanks in advance.
