  1. I'm using v0.9.4 Beta with Windows 10 home (all Windows updates) Setting up my first basic activity - watch TV using a Bell Expressvu receiver that is set to IR Address 1 - and this configuration is already in the Skip database. Problem: Some button actions work perfectly; some button actions work very slowly and some buttons don't work at all >Cursor up/dn/left/right/enter: does not work well - slow, or no response. If already in the Info screen, the center cursor enter works perfecty, but if in guide or DVR/PVR, that same button does not work consistently. > Info button: works perfectly. > Channel up/dn; does not work consistently. > Stop button (to stop DVR playback): does not work at all. Comparing tp the dedicated BELL remote, that works perfectly. It seems sometimes I need to keep holding the Skip remote button for several seconds where-as the dedicated BELL remote invokes immediate response on the Receiver with a super short tap. Because some commands are occurring, but intermittently, I'm wondering if there is an issue with the IR signal on the Skip or is this simply a database issue? The volume up/down Skip controls my PIoneer Receiver perfectly (as comparison), where-as my Logitech remote always has a problem with the volume (slow response) with my Pioneer.
  2. "Mouse over" did reveal the otherwise hidden "add devices", thanks
  3. There is no "Add Devices" button - see my screen shot
  4. I finally got V 0.9.4 installed and running after resetting permissions in WindowsApps folder to default. Q: After selecting my first "A" Activity "Watch TV", the GUI goes to "These devices will be used in your activity" and "Press continue...." Problem: the screen shows no devices nor any way to add them. (see screen shot)
  5. After uninstalling Version 9.1, I downloaded and attempted to install 0.9.2 Immediately after double clicking or right click/install, Windows pop-up reports this error "File system error (-2147219196)" and does not proceed
  6. Should have stated earlier: Dell desktop PC running Win 10 Home 64 bit
  7. For anyone having the folder permission issue, these are the instructions I followed to resolve it "Right click on the folder, select "Properties", click on the Security tab, click on the "Advanced" button. Next to Owner click "Change", then click "Advanced" and proceed to select "Find Now". Expand the "Name" column on the bottom section of your current window so you can view all the available selections. Scroll down until you see your username, select it and click OK. Click OK on the "Select user or group" window and finally click "Apply" on the window titled "Advanced Security Settings for [folder]" Close out of the dialogue box and properties windows. You now have full access to the folder."
  8. Also "mrt100_app.dll was not found. Both these dll are flagged as missing when attempting to launch the program.....which seems to happen at the end of the install as well
  9. I successfully changed the owner of the WindowsApp folder to my windows user name (with execute permission and now the shortcut stars to launch the program, however, I now get the following Error: "SkpApp.exe - System Error: The code execution cannot proceed because SharedLibrary.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem.
  10. I downloaded V0.9.1 Beta installer and ran it as administrator. It put the executable in C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\1ee3f564-2cd0-4ef3-af35-da985b1d7f00_0.9.1.5229_x64__vg5akken3mtem It also created a desktop shortcut Problem: Windows is denying permission to run the program from the WindowsApps folder system even as administrator I cannot start the program
