Hi everyone I'm using a shield with hd homerun, and the issue I've been having is my family will leave the tv running when they are done watching. Items I have:
Nvidia Shield 2017 model
LG TV (model: LB495550-UY)
Hd Homerun Prime
Harmony 650 Remote
Flirc Usb
I'm wondering is there a way that will shut the tv down when I turn the nvidia shield off?
My tv is a 2015 non smart lg tv that doenst have CEC either, so I'm wondering is FLICR my option? My theory is I could add a Flirc and teach it the TV's power IR command to "stop" or "home", both of which should also stop the HDHomeRun app, and free the tuner.
