  1. Flirc v2.4.0 and Firmware v4.0.24 (released June 2017) solved the problem. WMC7 (Windows Media Center under Windows 7) works fine with Flirc V2. Many thanks to Yawor and Jason.
  2. Volume up/down would be equivalent to standard-keyboard F9/F10. What profile did you use to program the arrow keys?
  3. Also tried flirc_util.exe record_api 1 7 (and 16 7 and 17 7) which produced ctrl-d ever so nicely in the command window......but WMC7 wont accept it as ctrl-d. WMC7 sees some input though.....when II move the mouse in the guide-view of WMC, the player controls appear....and disappear when I push the "ctrl-d" button on the remote. Question is: What does WMC7 "see" when I press the button programmed ctrl-d in Flirc? I really WANT to use my new XBOX Media remote to control WMC7. How hard can it be......
  4. In the meantime I verified that logitec K400, streacom Flirc and Flirc V2 all send recognizable ^D to the command line editor.....but only the ^D send by K400 and streacom Flirc are recognized by WMC7.
  5. Flirc V2 seems unable to control WMC (info key = ctrl-d). Any solution? Streacom Flirc had advanced settings and sequence modifiers allowing ctrl-d to open Info Menu under Windows Media Center.
