    I'm having this same issue with the newest Flirc USB with GUI 2.0.3 and Firmware 4.0.5. I tried the GUI with my first gen Flirc with Firmware 3.8.0 and was able to Sleep AND Wake the PC, but I have to "Wake" twice to get the PC to wake up. So for now, I guess I'm sticking with the old dongle. Bummer.
