You have to first figure out what the record/pause button is. Then use my GUI with the full keyboard view.

I'm very sorry for the delay. So have you had any success with any of the remotes? Let's just rule out to make sure flirc is not defective. Can you try a panasonic or samsung profile? Let me know if that works. Also, try going to file->advanced, and do a force firmware upgrade. What version do you see in the bottom left when you are doing the upgrade. I've reproduced this. Short answer is, it's on the firetv side. I have a way of fixing this, and have something that works over here. It is a fundamentally big change, we'll see if I can get someone at amazon to listen first.

I apologize for your frustration. I will make it more obvious when upgrading that pre 3.x configurations are not compatible and repairing your remote is necessary. Please connect with me so I can help trouble shoot this.

I have not announced it yet, because they have problems with the profile. For example, the enter key is not mapped by default to the 'ok' or select button on the remote Also, they don't have 'back' mapped to the 'back' harmony button either. It's going to cause a lot of confusion, you need to map these manually. Can you actually tell me if that was the case? Which remote do you have? Otherwise, yes, it will solve these problems. I have my own vendor protocol tuned for flirc.

a Flirc FireTV profile will be added to the harmony database and a firmware image will be released that has these keys pre-pared.

I don't have a PS4 profile in my GUI or in the harmony. But you could help me. If you hook up a USB keyboard to your PS4, and try and figure out what keyboard keys do what functions on the playstation and put them in an excel spreadsheet, I'll get you a refund. I would need shortcuts for applications like Plex and Netflix, and Hulu, etc. They are probably all the same across applications. For the time being, add any remote (panasonic or samsung profile) and then randomly assign keys to your remote buttons of choice. Map these in your flirc to keyboard key shortcuts you find above.

Yes, I keep asking people to be a little patient. A flirc, firetv will be added to harmony in the next day or so. But even if you didn't have a harmony, it will work with any remote.

I'll issue a reward to someone that spends the time putting together USB keyboard shortcuts and PS4. I will use this to extend my graphical user interface for PS4.
