This may have been taken care of with 3.25.4 (if I could download the package I would check myself) but if not could you please add it to the todo list for 3.25.5. The /usr/bin/Flirc gui works just fine, but others may want the command line.

The correct setting, which is hidden inside the install.sh script is more like this deb [trusted=yes] https://apt.fury.io/flirc/ / Please can you get rid of the incorrect information and point people to the correct location for the install.sh which is 'http://apt.flirc.tv/install.sh' as explained here https://flirc.tv/ubuntu-software-installation-guide

I am having the same double-press issue as a lot of other users as well. I am not using Harmony, but an old XBox 360 controller to control my own HTPC software. It just sends Ctrl-button presses to my program (Ctrl-Up, Ctrl-Down, Ctrl-A, etc.) to run the GUI. For example when I have a menu up in my program and I press the down button on the remote, it moves the menu down twice, I.E. it sends two Ctrl-Down button presses (using keyboard's Ctrl-Down works fine so it is not my program, also, I have my other Flirc configured to use my LG UHD Bluray player's remote and it works fine, so the issue has to do with Flirc and the XBox 360 remote). Anyway, I used to have this same double-press issue couple of years ago when I bought my first Flirc and back then I was able to fix the issue by setting the "Inter-key delay" to something longer than default value. This is still the "official" fix for non-harmony remotes in the Flirc's help page. Unfortunately the "Inter-key delay" option is no longer available. The "Advanced" dialog (I have Windows PC, not Mac) does not have the option any more, and running "Flirc_Util.exe settings" shows: C:\Program Files (x86)\Flirc>flirc_util.exe settings 3.25.3-16-g28e8a01+ FW Version: v4.9.3 SKU: Flirc 2.0 [dori] Branch: master Config: release Hash: 0xCB185BDE Settings: sleep detection: always enabled noise canceler: always enabled inter-key delay: N/A for current firmware variant: Flirc builtin profiles: NA Memory Info: NA product sku: Flirc 2.0 [dori] Unfortunately I have updated the old Flirc to the latest firmware not knowing about this issue so I am stuck with the double-press problem. Is there any place where I could download the last firmware (and GUI as well, I suppose...) which still supported the inter-key delay setting. Or even better, if you could re-enable it in the firmware and I could be using the latest version. By the way, thanks a bunch for this amazing device. It was exactly what I needed when I started working on my own HTPC program! Thanks!

Hi, I'm new to FLIRC and have created a configuration to control my Internet TV Box. The manufacturer is Free Telecom (France) and the Model is POP Player. The player is running Androis OS. I want to use it with a Logitech Harmony universal remote (hub based). The player's original remote is Bluetooth. The player does NOT have an IR port, but has a USB port so I can plug-in the FLIRC receiver. I have created an activity on the Harmony using the following devices: NVidia Shield Free Telecom Freebox Mini 4K (this is an older TV box, also Android based, that had an integrated IR receiver Here is why I use both devices: The NVIDIA Shield profile can control most buttons using Bluetooth, including Power On / Power Off However the NVIDIA Shield profile does not allow to use the Favorite Channel screen on the Harmony. This is because Logitech has declared the NVIDIA Shield as a game controller rather than TV device. The Freebox Mini 4K device, on the other hand is declared as a TV capable device, and therefore allows to use the Favorite Channel screen. This is the device that is used to change channels. So with this activity, the changing of channels is going through the FLIRC while the rest of the commands is using Bluetooth. Now, here is my issue: For changing channels, most of the time I need to press the key twice, the first key press does not seem to be taken into account. For channel numbers with 2 or 3 digits, it usually only show the last digit. For exmaple, if I press the favorite for channel 54, it only send 4 to the receiver. I have tried to change the repeat delays on the Logitech Harmony eDevice Freeebox Mini 4K, but none of the 4 available settings fixed the issue correctly. I read about the FLIRC inter-key delay, but this setting sends ut the message: N/A for current firmware Is there any way I can tweak the inter-key delay on the FLIRC to fix my issue ? Does it require another version of firmware ? I'm currently on 4.9.3 Thanks, Olivier
