I'm trying very hard to cut the cable with FIOS and so I want to switch to a Fire TV. It needs to to be simple and run with one remote. All my AV equipment is installed in a closet and reached with a IR repeater. I seem to find some hit and miss info of if FLIRC will work with a repeater or not. Does it basically come down to having to buy one a test it or is it more commonly know to not work so don't waste time trying? Thanks. Steve
