gordone
I like the appel tv remote controll and want to use it for appel tv and rasperry with flirc. How do you solve the challenge that two devices will "answer" the remote control?
Nobuddy0816
Not at all. As long as both devices are in sight of your remote, they will react on commands. To avoid this, you only can unplug the flirc device or the ATV, depending on wich device you want to be active. What are you using the ATV for? If you're running a xbmc destribution on your rpi, your ATV can be possibly needless, due to that Airplay can be enabled in xbmc.
gordone
I see your point, airplay and maybe rent a movie, so yes, maybe the ATV will be needless, time will show :)

AirPlay in XBMC is not reliable, at least under Frodo, and doesn't support mirroring if that is important. Philip
