I recently got my Flirc and I want it to work with a apple remote (white one).

I installed the software on Windows 7 and configured it succesfully, it works fine within Windows.

But when I plugged it in my Raspberry Pi there is no response, after reboot of course

Also tried it as full keyboard en XMBC mode, programming is succesfull bu no repsonse on my Pi.

Any tips are welcome, read the others topics on apple remote, xmbc and Pi, but np succes

Im a newby on linux, so please have some patience with me.

http://sdrv.ms/12m8p2i link to dmesg outpu, that shows that flirc is detected

Hi stef1256, welcome to the forums,

One thing that springs to mind was one user mentioning his Flirc was really buggy then he bought a better power supply for the raspberry pi and the flirc worked perfectly.

This sounds like it could be a similar thing if it's working on one computer but not on the Pi

Does this help?
