9394
Hi guys,I am using an Xbox One media remote w/Flirc to control my Windows 10 Kodi HTPC. Everything is working well, but the Xbox One still responds to the button presses on the remote and eventually will turn itself on (which is what I don't want to happen). Is there a way to "unpair" the remote w/ my Xbox One? I only want the remote to control my Kodi box. Thanks!
yawor
There's no way to "unpair" a remote from the device it's dedicated for. But you can try using some tape and cover the IR receiver in the Xbox One.
flurcme
See the URL re how you can set your remote to a different ID# (not recognised by Xbox) then edit the registry on your PC to set it to a different ID# you have chosen so it WILL respond to the remote: http://www.thegreenbutton.tv/forums/viewtopic.php?p=42347#p42347
