inserting an unmodulated signal

Hello,

sorry for my bad english.

I have Car-Headunit, that sends can-messages to my AV-Modul. This modul translates them to various IR-Signals, so i could connect it to an external player with an IR-Input. But my android-Box has no input. So I would like to use Flirc for that. But I assume, that the signal coming from the module is not modulated (to 38kHz) so I cant use cheap IR-Transmitter. Is it possible to solder the unmodulated output of the AV-modul to the input of flirc? (bypassing the tsop, if it is one)?

I know it is a very special question, but I hope anyone can help me with this.

Thanks

Piccer

Thanks for reply. I've got an unmodulated signal to solder. Do you know where to solder this? Which pin of the ir-sensor? Or can you tell me, what kind of TSOP it is, may be I`ll find a datasheet? I ordered flirc on saturday, so I hope it will come soon :-)
