  1. Hey guys, got a FLIRC SE installed. Works great except for wake up command. What iv tried so far. Mapped the button using the GUI (click on the icon, press the button on my harmony remote, button gets recorded fine) Power down hit the button and nothing happens. I have also used this method to record the power button and same issue. flirc_util.exe record power I can wake the PC using a WOL command from an APP. I just cant seem to get it to work with FLIRC. been at it for a few (more then a few hours and its hitting 3am here so need to get some sleep. Would appreciate any help or troubleshooting advice/steps. Thanks.
  2. Hi,I would like to wake up my HTPC when it is suspended with Flirc (1st gen with the transparent casing) using my Logitech Harmony Companion.I am using a win7 pc with the latest version of Flirc GUI (ver 2.6.4) and the motherboard that am using is a ASRock FM2A85X-ITX.I try every possible option i can find on the internet but nothing worked. First of all i enabled 'PS/2 Keyboard power On', 'USB Keyboard/Remote Power On', USB Mouse Poer On' in my BIOS. So basically i have power on my USB ports and by pressing any key on my Logitech K400 Keyboard i can wake up my HTPC when it is suspended. But still i can't wake it up using my Remote. I ran the cmd 'powercfg -devicequery wake_armed' in win cmd i see a list of all the devices that can power on my PC but no Flirc i even try to include it but with no luck. I also try to check the option 'Allow this device to wake the computer' under Power Management in Device Manager for my USB ports but i can't the option appears to be ghost. In Flirc GUI i use the option 'Wake/suspend' under Controllers>Media Keys.Plz help me i really would to be able to wake up my HTPC using Logitech Harmony Activity.
  3. My question is simple the solution maybe not. My setup consists of a logitech harmony hub and logitech harmony touch remote a J4205-ITX board and a flirc 2nd gen. The problem is that flirc wakes up regardless which remote signal arrives. It does not care if its from the logitech or from the remote of the tv or any other remote or key, it wakes up. Is it possible to stop that behavior? Thanks for all answers in advance
  4. Hi, I really would like to buy Flirc IR receiver, but I need to understand if these two things are possible: 1) can I specify an IR Code to wake up the PC from suspend mode, and (important) waking up only with that specific IR code, becouse I don't want to alsways wake up the pc if i'm using a remote for controlling another TV for example (actually I'm using the Hauppauge IR blaster but the wake up IR code seems to be embedded inside and not changeble at all) 2) I would like to finally use the apple remote: is "long press" supported? can I use the "menu" button for wake up the PC and (once waked up) use the same "menu" button for something else like coming back to Windows Media Center main interface (maybe, if needed, in combination with EventGhost)? Thanks
