  1. I just purchased a couple more Flirc V2 dongles to use. I would like each device to have the same settings. How can I clone copy the config from Dongle A to Dongle C if I no longer have the original save file? I have everything mapped and can't figure out how to 'read' the config from what will be the Master device. I have already upgraded all the firmware so everything is on the same version.
  2. Now that I've spent hours setting up my Flirc (no fault of Flirc, there's just a lot of factors to consider) it would be nice if I could dump my Flirc's mappings to file that I could save in my backups, just in case I got a new Flirc or my current Flirc gets stolen or zapped. AND, tweaker that I am, it would be nice if that backup file was editable text, not binary. Of course this implies that the backup file is used by the other nice-to-have function: a Flirc restore.
  3. Hi guys. I've received my Flirc a few days ago and I'm not able to run a lot of functions or keys with my Harmony 300 (Vol+ vol- mute smallstepack). :o Of course I've read before an tested this guide without luck. The XBMC Flirc profile in MyHarmony don't work fine with the Harmony 300. If I load this profile the Volume+ Volume- and smallstepback don't work. I've also tried to program the harmony like a Samsung LN46C650L1F and assigned a function to all the keys as mentioned in the post. BUT when I try to program or reassign this functions in the FlircGui 1.2.5 (w7x64 + firmware 2
  4. I'm using v2.2 of the GUI and I'm trying to get my new Logitech Harmony to work with Flirc + XBMC. I was happy to see that there is a profile for this in the Logitech Harmony database, but when I tried the remote with XBMC launched it didn't seem to work. Is this a known issue or am I doing something wrong?
  5. Hi all just ordered my flirc and expecting delivery soon. Just a few questions while i wait. Ive got an HP mediasmart tv remote that can also be programmed for CBL, DVD, AVR and AUX. The standard tv profile must use the mce profile as it works my xbmc out of the box. Depending what you set the remote up for on the other profiles depends on whats buttons you get to use. So can flirc work with mce signals ok or will i have to set it up in a different profile? My remote is the HP Mediasmart TV RC2285202/01 P/N 5189-3683 http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?lc=en&cc=us&a
  6. I'm curious to know if anybody running XBMCbuntu (or any other Linux setup) has successfully programmed a Logitech Harmony remote for full functionality. I installed the Flirc GUI within XBMCbuntu, which seemed to record the basic functionality. I had to use the terminal command line to record advanced keystrokes. Within XBMC, however, I get almost no real functionality. Only the directional buttons "work," and that is occasional and usually scrolls in whatever direction it chooses, regardless of the actual input. I think the problem may be in the device or activity setup within the L
