My question is: If I get a FLIRC will I be able to use an apple remote with it to control some simple media keys on my PC? Why use an apple remote? Because it looks decent and actually isn't too pricey, also it will cover the keys I'm interested in (play/pause, volume up/down, next track/last track). Cheers, Paul
So it took me forever to figure out how to wake and suspend Kodi using Flirc Usb and Logitech Harmony Hub and Alexa. These are not step by step instructions but you can google how to do it. 1. In Kodi, install the keymapper addon and use it to map the f12 or any key you would like to hibernate or suspend Kodi. Once setup, when you hit the f12 key while in Kodi your pc should suspend. 2. Hi there! I purchased a Flirc USB 2nd genI have a desktop PC and a HTPC that I intend to use the Flirc on, both are running Windows 10. For this convo, I'll only bring up the desktop PC, but it is has an ASRock FM2A75M Pro4+ mother board. How do I go about syncing my logitech Harmony 650 to this device and using the Flirc/Harmony 650 to power on my PC (not from sleep, that is)? I believe that the BIOS options for power to the USBs is currently on, is there a way to verify that? I also activated the 'powering on by USB keyboard/mouse' in BIOS, but that still didn't help.
