  1. Hi, Just got my new Flirc 2.0 and Streamcon Flirc in the mail and decided to test out the 2.0. Decided to update the firmware and after doing so it just crashes on loading: "Flirc cannot be opened because of a problem. Check with the developer to make sure Flirc works with this version of OS X. You may need to reinstall the application. Be sure to install any available updates for the application and OS X. Click Report to see more detailed information and send a report to Apple." Since I cannot seem to find an older firmware version to downgrade it back to, I'm now stuck with useless hardware until this gets resolved... super frustrating. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  2. I just got my FLIRC, unpacked it, plugged it in, got the usual keyboard screen, closed that, then tried installing the latest driver from the website. But no matter what I try, the program just won't open and keeps crashing. I thought it might be a compatibility issue, since I'm on a Mac and my current OS is High Sierra. So I tried it on a different Mac that has El Capitan, but the same thing happens: the app icon bounces and then immediately closes again. The crash report says that a certain library couldn't be loaded, so I recreated the path from the report and copied the framework file in question over. That only ended up giving me another crash related to a different library, so I copied that framework file over as well, only to get the same thing happening again with another library. I kept doing this until I got a crash report without any obvious suspects. The files in question were the following: QtCore.framework QtGui.framework QtNetwork.framework QtGui.framework QtSvg.framework QtWidgets.framwork And here is an excerpt from one of the crash reports (it's the same on both my devices): "Termination Reason: DYLD, [0x1] Library missing Application Specific Information: dyld: launch, loading dependent libraries Dyld Error Message: Library not loaded: /usr/local/Cellar/qt@5.7/5.7.1/lib/QtCore.framework/Versions/5/QtCore Referenced from: /Applications/Flirc.app/Contents/Frameworks/QtGui.framework/Versions/5/QtGui Reason: image not found" Seeing how I get the exact same issue on two individual devices, one of which is a two day old MacBook with a clean install, I think it might be an issue with the current version of the driver. I would really appreciate if someone could provide me with a version of the driver that works for them on their Apple computer, so I can troubleshoot that way. If that doesn't work either, I really have no idea what could be causing this. Would appreciate any help on this.
  3. I'm attempting to install FLIRC on ubuntu 17.04 by following the instructions at: https://support.flirc.tv/hc/en-us/articles/203633465-Installing-Flirc-GUI-on-Linux-Debian- I'm getting a few errors such as: Err:1 http://apt.flirc.tv/arch/x64 binary/ flirc 2.6.4-1 404 Not Found E: Failed to fetch http://apt.flirc.tv/arch/x64/./flirc_2.6.4-1_amd64.deb 404 Not Found E: Unable to fetch some archives, maybe run apt-get update or try with --fix-missing? I'm a novice Linux user, so sorry if I'm missing something obvious. Neil
  4. Hi everybody, I'm trying to setup Flirc on my Raspberry Pi using ArchLinux (RuneAudio) but I'm not familiar with ArchLinux and instructions are only for debian based system. I already tried a couple of things and searched on Google with no success. Can anyone help me to setup Flirc on ArchLinux? Thanks in advance.
  5. Hi; Thanks for the great help around here. I have tried to setup Flirc and my Harmony One without success. I have read many installation procedures and I am confused. I have programmed FLIRC with keyboard layout but keys needed to be pressed twice to work, and even though the delay to execution was huge (so I canned that one). Next, I programmed MCE Keyboard and MCPC in the remote and linked them with an action to launch XBMC automatically using WIN-7 command and then use the keyboard layout i programmed. That did not work either... WISH LIST: Have XBMC as a command in remote When pressed a) I need TV on and HDMI 3 selected B) XBMC launched on the PC then control from there with a keyboard layout. ASSUMPTION: A second TV profile would not work since I need my TV to switch to HDMI 3 and so on... is this correct? I realize that this list might be a bit pretentious but I would like the convenience this offers. QUESTIONS Is this possible to do If yes, what is the best way to program it Thanks in advance
