[Unsure whether to buy a Flirc? (PLEASE CONTRIBUTE)]

Well behind of the pack, I just got mine. Ubuntu 14.04 running Kodi. Literally plug and play. I already had an old MCE Remote (Original Microsoft)

I was up and running in 5 minutes!

Beats breaking out the BT keyboard to operate Kodi. Works like a charm.  Wished I had gotten this years ago.

[No Flirc support of Windows Media Center remotes?]

I just got my Flirc yesterday. Literally a plug and play scene with my Ubuntu media center box running Kodi.

I have an MCE remote (Original Microsoft), it took me 4 minutes flat too configure with the software. Up and running flawlessly in 5 minutes.

I did get one of those messages you are talking about on the FFW button. All I did was "Remove" it and re-add it. No problem. Works like a charm!
